Tappet cover
« on: July 03, 2011, 10:38:36 AM »
I was adjusting my valves and one of the tapped cover was real stubborn, of course the one of the two I can't get a socket on. The hex head got rounded off.

Probably a lame question, but, how can I get it off. If it wasn't in the frame I think I could get it off with a socket, but life ain't that easy.

Had the same problem.
They're easy to get off with channel locks  :) .. grip on the outer edge not the hex head.
Then I just picked up a good used set on fleaBay for $20.
