Alright guys. I'm on the road with my
Buddy to pick her up.
I94 passing mile marker 131! We meeting the seller at 8am.  I think you are right about her looking to good to chop up. Guess I will be tearing up my kz for that. I will post a pic of me getting her in a few hours in day old clothes. I got her for 700...

Got her! Freaking bike is great. Driving the 6 hours home now and directly to the DMV!  Big question is do I pay the $73 bucks for collector plates or get custom. Veteran plates with TEWS19 on it? $52 for custom veteran every 2 yrs. Collector one time fee. Good for life.   No other fees

I want to strip her tonight but the carbs are leaking pretty bad. I think the floats are stuck.. Not sure, I really do not know bikes.... I got her registered and titled, got my seat rekeyed, oil changed...... Tomorrow I am bleeding the brakes...... I can not take off the luggage due to not having the light mounts.. Not sure what they are called....I can't even take off the fairing because of it....

Yes, most likely the floats are stuck. Firmly tap the float bowls on the bottom of the carb with the handle of a screwdriver, this will sometimes work. There should be our hoses coming off the bottom of the carbs, see which hose is leaking gas and follow it up to find the culprit.
If the bike has been sitting a year or more, the carbs may need to be pulled and properly cleaned.

Good luck.

Yeah I am planning on getting them cleaned, and resynched.. I think that is what it is called....

The gas is coming out of the line that leads to the air box....??? It is crakced at the meeting point of the air box and the line....
