Not me - it's peeing down here less than an hour away. My mate Tony Raynor is though on his lovely Black Bomber - say hello to him if you see him there Malcolm ;-)

OK Simon, I will be going Sunday. I'm a bit closer, the weather warm and a little over cast here.

Forecast looks good Malcolm - should a cracking meeting, I love Darley. I'm having to stay home to fettle the old Ducti - Manx GP coming up and I'm offski woo-hoo!

Yes Darley suits the Classics, the banks and little run off area give it a real road race feel too.
Sam rang me to say he may go.
Have a good time at the Manx.

Ah that'd be good if young Sam makes it up there. Darley is a lot of fun save for that darn hairpin. It has to be the most infuriating hairpin second only to Tonfanau. Great little track though otherwise. Last time I raced there was on the 350 K4. We were held on the line so long the engines heated up and the clutches started to drag so me and two other lads stalled. We finally got going just as the field were coming down the straight! Nightmare!!

Well young Sam didn't make it
he woke up with a swollen eye on Sunday morning and it was that bad, his specs didn't fit his face.
Seems I got an insect bite during the night just under my right eye, looked a right mess on Sunday morning.
I went to the chemist this morning and he sold me some antihistamine tablets which seemed to have an immediate effect. It's still swollen but I can get my glasses on now.
I was sober the night before and no one clobbered me before anyone suggests it.
Sam.
