Push button wire is disconnected in housing, Can bike be set to just kick start?

In right hand control handle the wires have come detached from push button. The solder points are pretty tiny and I'm not sure I can fix that, but I wonder if I can have the bike set to just kick start rather than electric.

You don't need to "set" anything. Just use the kick-start.
You can remove the starter motor if you want to, but you'll need to plug the hole it leaves.
