Glad I found this thread, as I'm riding from Winnipeg to Victoria in two weeks. Anyone have recommendations of highways other than the #1? I was thinking maybe the 16, and the #3 through the mountains. Any alternate suggestions?

On the way to Vancouver I have 3 days to get there (leaving from Winnipeg), and the way home I've got up to 5 days. As for riding, I'd like something scenic, twisty (who doesn't), basically anything that isn't the trans-canada highway...
