Is this movie any good?  Seeing it around F/S.
Also in magnum force when the pimp is driving across the bridge it looks like a sohc4 passes him.

My sister got the book for me, haven't read it yet. I haven't seen the movie either even though I heard much buzz about it.
I haven't even noticed the SOHC4 in Magnum Force. I have that video somewhere so I'll check it out. There was a cool 1971 CB750 K1 (with dual disks) and CB500 shown in the movie "Stone Killer" by Charles Bronsen during the same era.
1969 Honda CB750, two 1970 CB750, two 1972 CB750K2, 1971 CB500, 1975 CB550, 1976 CB400F, 1968 CL450, 1973 CL450, 1974 CB450, 1970 1/2 SL350K1, 1971 SL350K1, 1972 SL350K2, 1972 CL350, 1972 CB350, 1983 CB1000C, 1976 Kawasaki KZ900A4, 1976 KH500A8, 1979 KZ400B, 1983 ZN1300, and so on and so on...

I just saw that movie. It's a brown colored 1972 Honda CB500K1, with a first generation Vetter Windjammer in black with gold trim stripes and Triple-A luggage rack. The bike could be the 1973 CB500K2 which had a different shade of brown color but the movie was made in 1972 so if it was the K2 model, it would had to be brand new, but most guys don't put heavy accessories on a new bike until months after they first get it. It took nearly a year after I got my Kawasaki KZ900 before I put windshield, crashbar and luggage rack.

I agree. I just started this forum just two months ago and I'm already addicted. Good thing I haven't checked out the porn site yet.

I liked that Moto Guzzi 750 Police bike. I have the same model but mine is a LAPD model, not SFPD. It needs full restoration since friend of mine who was keeping it for me accidently dented the tank and cracked some of the cylinder fins.

Personally, I liked those bikini-clad models posing next to a new motorcycles during the early 1970s. Cycle magazines did many of them and they were among my favorites. Of course I read them for their excellent technical sections.

Do you remember the pretty blond girl "Miss Buco" wearing that chrome helmet? What was her real name? I had two big posters of her that covered my room wall during my high school days. I included a little photo of her in my Angels 750 comic book series too.

There should be one, though I prefer pretty girls in bikinis posing next to the SOHC bikes.

Very good. There is a fair amount of time at the start where we see Che and his friend tootling around south America on an old Norton single. Apparently the real McCoy was more reliable than the Norton/Japanese hybrid that they used for the 'get-off' scenes.

The end of the film is a bit cerebral, where we see how Che's thoughts were shaped by the poverty and illness he saw.

Plus it's pretty hilarious/heartbreaking watching two guys trying to go cross-country, all loaded down, on that tiny bike. Like dumb and dumber but all serious..
That's like hypnotizing chickens...

That's a great analogy.
