Tank Emblems

I have a 71 K1, what kind of paint to restore the white, black and gold on them? Thanks, sweenerman

Your biggest challenge will be the gold as that is a plating. Krylon and some others are making some pretty good metallic paints. I would spry that as a base coat and tyen fill in with color. My Plating was fine so I had an artist friend with a steady hand just brush on some fuel proof gas model airplane enamel. Came out nice and fresh looking and is holding up well.

When I had emblems on my tank, I took them off , sprayed the entire emblem flat black, then
took some sandpaper and sanded the letters to bare metal.

Looked prety sweet , In my eyes  ::) ;D
