Whats the humidity level supposed to be?

What's it like riding in that kind of heat? We just cracked the 80's two days ago and sitting in traffic idling, sitting above a hot engine is not much fun in our temps. Can't even imagine your temps.

Hi Gordon, your weather is very much like ours in Queensland mate, you get used to it after a while and i find riding in the heat no problem at all, although i try and avoid traffic......... ;)

We're in a severe drought here, so the humidity level has been a lot lower than it would typically be.  It's been around 40-50% lately.  It's not bad riding in this heat as long as you accept the fact that you're going to be sweaty.  Even with a mesh jacket I'm still soaked after a 30 min ride.  That's pretty much the norm no matter what you're doing during the Summer here, though.  If you try to fight the heat and the sweat, you're going to be miserable all Summer long, but if you give into it and accept that you're going to be sweaty, stinky and nasty, it's actually kind of liberating.  The Summers here are like the Borg.  Resistance is futile! ;D

I try and ride with my arm positioned so i get a stream of air up my sleeve, turns the sweat into liquid cooling.... ;D

I avoid riding in the heat of the day, went for a ride last Sat morning and it was very comfortable.
Yes, Texas summers are brutally hot for four months or so, but the other eight months are great!

A cold front means get ready for two stroke weather.   I.E.,  I'm getting off the couch to cut some firewood right now so I don't freeze. Hope I don't wake the neighbors up too early.
