CB 400F cafe build
« on: February 11, 2014, 11:39:58 AM »
Long story short, I got two of them on the cheap, put all the good parts in a pile and did a partial restoration on the best one for my beautiful wife.

Now I am stuck with a frame and motor, a rotted gas tank, a fried/melted fuse box, a screwed up seat and big dreams. It's far too gone for a restoration and I have always wanted to tackle a more involved project.

My project before I started the teardown (anything that looks good on this bike ended up on the rebuild)

Two similar bikes in the shed.  As you work on the cafe, having the other to look at helps with building the other.
Looks like the rebuilt one is in good shape.
I like them!
Have fun with the build.
