that kills, bro - I guess that's not a stock bucket? which one are you using?
The bucket in the photo is in fact a stock headlight bucket. I was thinking of getting one of those scooter type buckets so I can put the stock tach (or a smaller aftermarket one) in the headlight bucket itself, kinda like CHIPPY550 did on his scoot..I really like the look of clean handlebars..
what happened to the white stripe on the tank - was that just a temporary decal for the meet?
That was just a sticker that I had lyin around I slapped on the tank for the show. I wanted everyone to know what club I was a member of..

* UPDATE 7/05/2006 *

Hope everyone had a good 4th of July, I know I did  ;D
Got the new seat today in the mail from Germany , and slapped it on the scoot.
I cant believe what a difference it made in the looks department , as it made the bike.
The ass stop is nice , as now when I give it alittle fuel , my body doesnt wanna fly off the stock seat.
Install was take old off - put new on.  ;D The thing even has storage under the "hump" 8)

More pics are in my gallery , which can be seen here ----> http://www.sohc4.us/gallery/v/members/personal/PROTEAL55/1955/1972/?g2_page=2

Damn PT!!! That looks good!!!!

Thanks for all the positive comments on the seat. Most of you know how much I was sweating finding the right seat for the project, and I think I found it. This seat puts me about 1/2'' lower in the bike, which helps bigtime with the clip-on's and my overall riding position. I took the scoot out last night for about an hour, and my back was doing much better than it was with the stock seat, plus I think the bike got faster by just putting a cooler seat on it....  ;D ;D

Next on the chopping block is a re-do of the running/tail lights / re-do of the license plate frame, and some other little things. Mainly though I am just gonna ride it, and ride it hard...

Still up in the air on what I wanna do about the exhaust. I am either gonna keep the header pipes I have and get two automotive style "bullet" mufflers and weld them on, or just go with some sort of 4 into 1 system. I actually think the 4 into 2 looks better, and gives more of a sound "area" to the bike , rather than having it on one side...Who knows....? ;D

Pro,

I just saw the new seat on the bike.  It really looks sweet.  You said that you got it from Germany?  Was it an eBay item?  Your bike is really coming along well.

Thanks for the kind comments.. After 130 miles put on the bike last night , I must admit the bike is running strong, and I am having a blast beating the piss outta it on a daily basis  ;D I got the seat from a member on this site. It is a factory GILARRIA (Spelling?) seat from Italy I believe. The guy I bought it from was in Germany, and shipped it to my door for a VERY fair price. I got lucky, as this is pretty much the exact seat I was looking for to go on the bike. The stock seat , with it being flat, is just too scary at high speeds (feel like I as gonna get sucked off). After the long ride last night , I have a new list of things I need to address :
1. Re-Install a horn
2. Re wire up some turn signals, atleast in the rear...
3. Find out what make 4 into 1 exhaust user STEVEF has on his 750, cause it sounds killer ;D
4. Look into gearing , cause my bike needs alittle more topend to make it enjoyable on the tollway

More updates to come , well , as they come... ;D

Nice seat!  I actually used the Guillari or whatever it's called as inspiration for my home made version on my 550F.

CBJUNKIE ---->
It sure is buddy  ;D
SKTP--------------------->
Like I said , The seat is from a company by the name of GUILIARI (correct spelling ;))From what I have been told, & read on this board, the company is/was outta Italy.
The seat fit better than the stock seat i had (STOCK SEAT 4 SALE) , has under bump storage (which kicks ass), and actually says HONDA on the back (retro look)  ;D ;D

I plan to do alittle sawzall cutting this weekend on the frame that shows under the seat. I am just gonna clean it up alittle, and re-place the bullet lights I have to "tighten up" the rear of the bike.
After the 130 mile ride this past weekend, I am ready to do some projects on the scoot, to give my back & wrists a rest...I also need to re-install a horn, which I plan to mount inside the left side cover, and re-wire up some turn signals for the rear (to keep my ass alive)..

Pro-Longed / Fall  projects are :
- 4 into 1 exhaust
- Mini tach install in headlight bucket
- Clean triple tree (like STLROCKERS cafe)
- Dis-Assemble wheels and powdercoat hubs and rims gloss black with stainless spokes (gonna look badass....! )

Yup..
Avon Venom 130mm on the rim...

Been on the scoot for awhile now.
Thus my need in re-gearing. Going from a 18'' rear to a 16''.
I need alitte more top end "charge" to keep up with the rocket boys on the tollway (which I found out this past weekend)...

* PROJECT JuNk UPDATE 7/18/2006 *

Where has the summer gone ? It is almost friggin August  :o!!
I finally got my custom stacks I orderd today , and threw them on the bike. They are copper (as you can see) , which will "turn" nicely over time. the have built in screens, and three set screws to hold them on. The little screws really do a nice job of holding them on their, so they wont come tumbling off at speed and thru some poor bastard's windshield ;D.
They def. added some color to the bike. I think I need to get some more copper parts to match now.... ;D

If anyone wants a set, the guy does them on a build-2-order basis, and usually is about a 2-week turn around time. Major re-jetting needs to be done with these things - as I found out 4 fouled sparkplugs later ::)
Shoot me a PM if you want his info, and a set for you own scoot...

Stay tuned for more updates as they come.... :D

* UPDATE 7/30/2006 *

Damn it is hot out !!
Got motivated today in the garage, and did a few things that I have been wanting to do for awhile.

1. Finally got rid of that GHEY "cateye" taillight and re-did my license plate bracket deal-e-o.
With the addition of the 4 into 1 now on the bike (See #2), the left side passenger peg mount was no longer needed, so it met Mr.Sawzall earlier this afternoon, and was hacked off. Not suprising, that little " L " bracket had some good weight to it, so thats atleast apound shaved off the bike, as a lighter bike is a faster bike  ;DThis made me re-mount my license plate frame to a different location (which I wanted to do anyways). So I made a small bracket and mounted the frame off the bottom shock mount bolt, for a super clean install. In my new quest to make the bike lighter& safer, I ditched the cateye taillight in favor for a super kick ass bright LED strip, with only measures in at 3'' across , but puts off almost 3 times the light of that junk cateye.
Plus the little LED strip is lighter, and looks cleaner on the plate. More pics to come, but you can see just how bright the back of the bike is , and this was taken with the lights in the "running" position. The things really get eye bleeding bright when the brakes are applied...
2. The 4 into 1 is FINALLY on the bike. I decided to go with a run of the mill MAC cannister system, which I ordered in black (of course) ;D.I was afraid that re-jetting was gonna be needed, but the bike actually is running better than it ever has since I have owned it. My guess is that the PO (Previous owner) had jetted it, and was running OK with the 4 into 2 system that was on their, and just needed a 4 into 1 in order to really run good. I cant explain it , besides saying it is like a whole new bike. The sound is killer, as the baffle is now in some landfill rotting away (ended up in the garbage about 10 min after I opened the box :D). Best way to describe the sound is a newer sportbike with a Vance & Hines open pro-pipe. I think it sounds badass, which is all that matters. Plans are to cut down the cannon alittle (as it is alittle too big for the bike), and angle it alittle upwards to give it a more "aggressive" look to it. I am going after the look that user STEVEF has on his 4 into 1..After I get it looking good , I am gonna header-wrap it and call it a day...

More updates to come, as I figure out what the next project is gonna be... ;D

Man that seat is sweet! Are there any more to be had? I have done some searching on ebay for Guiliari but come up bupkiss. Did it cost a fortune because it looks like a million bucks. Looks way more comfortable than a fiberglass cafe seat. My ass isn't what it used to be.

Do a worldwide search on Ebay. They are more common here in Europe.

I agree with the comment above. Mine was found from a guy in Germany, who said they are allot more common over their then  here in the good ol' US of A. From what I have learned, my seat is actually not a true Guiliari, but a copy (which is fine with me). I guess the true Guiliari seats say "CB750" on the sides, such as the one's pictured below...

I am trying to get my hands on another one myself, for either a winter project, or to sell...

Yes,.. but there were two different models of them.
One with a chrome guard (as shown and you own) and
one w/o of them.
I will let you see a pic (have to search) of my other NOS seat w/o chrome.
and with golden letters (Honda, Cb750).
Proteal55, be caruful, the letters will be removed if you are going
to clean your seat with an agressive method (gas, alcohol).
All have had the storage space under the hump.

I would NEVER clean a seat, or anything else for that matter with gas...
I did a full leather treatment on the seat when I first got it, with products actually made to clean and treat older leather, and it came out looking great. ;D

just noticed it yet Proteal55,....you own an ORIGINAL, not a copy!!! >:( >:(
There were never any replicas of the Giuliari (CB seat) available, never.
There were different styles (two, gold or white letters) as i wrote,..so be proud to
own an original. :) :)
The earlier seats were covered with real leather, the later models were covered with
synthetic leather (like mine NOS).

On your seat, the side letters are removed by somebody, that's all.
