I need a 500 or 550 rear fender measurement.

Could someone measure the width on the rear fender where it bolts to the frame.
 I get 6 3/4" frame to frame  on a 400.

Do you need one?  I've got a stock one I'd sell you for cheap (I have no idea what these things go for).  It's a little scabby but straight.  I can take pics tomorrow if you're interested.
