Newbie oil question...

I'm doing an oil change this weekend and both my Clymer and Haynes manuals give different oil capacity levels. One says 2.7 liters and the other says 3.5... I know the obvious answer is fill it till it's full, but I'm curious which is correct....

Any other tips or tricks I should be aware of?

The CB750 takes 3.7 Qts. It is on the sticker on the oil talk.

Great, thanks for the help. Luckily for me my oil tank sticker is long gone, or I'd really feel like an idiot.... (I ran out and checked even....)
