CB500 Clutch Headache
« on: July 11, 2011, 07:58:10 AM »
Alright, so I took a running and riding CB500 apart to customize it.  While I was in there, I discovered a snapped Clutch rod and replaced it.  Now, no matter how I adjust the clutch, I cannot get the clutch to disengage.  I have the little ball in the adjuster (in case you wondering).  To remove the old clutch rod, I had to remove the pressure plate from the clutch and I tightened it back down with the new rod in there.  Since the manual had no specs I retightened it back down.  I'm not getting any resistance in the clutch handle and I can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong.  Please walk me through this.  Thanks,
John
