newbie from england uk
« on: July 10, 2011, 01:44:01 PM »
hi all am situated near Liverpool in the old UK . Was told to get intouch with you guys as am looking to repair 750 K2 frame butchered by someone who can remain nameless (idiot). He cut out the two top frame rails immediately above the cylinder head then lost the piece he had cut out. Has anyone any idea of how to fix this i believe someone was making a kit that would repair this but have stopped production

Pete - go to the SOHC4 Tech section and post there. Make sure you put "K2 frame repairs" or similar in the thread title as it will/should attract the attention of the guys here who have worked on this.

Cheers

It was called the Gordon Frame Kit, which allowed 750 owners to do head work w/out removing the engine.  Do a search, but yes, I do believe production has ceased.  However, I heard rumors of another run.
