Someone here any experience with the atp/blake turbo kit?
I know my motor is a 836 low compression,but not sure about the cam.I try to make it run idle and it's impossible,nothing under 2200 rpm.I just ordered a carb kit.Carb is a zenith side draft. Thanks for any help

 Doum, I run a  A.T.P. setup.  My carb is a SU carb from Rivera.  Works really well.  I'm really thinking of using a Mikuni HSR series 42mm carb.  It's a way better engineered carburator and way more tunable. 
      My turbo bike idles at 1500 rpm's.  I had WEBCAM custom grind a camshaft for me.  You need to find out what cam you have as turbo engines don't like very much duration.  A little more lift than stock is all you need for a good street turbo camshaft.  If the zenith rebuild doesn't help i'd really check the cam and go to a better carburator for sure.  Good luck and keep us posted on what you come up with,  JON G.

I work on the turbo bike this weekend after 1 month sitting in the garage.result,idle is impossible.I have check the cam,weber 41-cl. From the shearch I did the 41 grind isnt that much agressive,it's the next one after the stock cam.But just to be sure I install a stock cam in it.Restart,no idle,try 2 different cam,no idle.I can keep it to 2500 if I help all the time with the acceleration pump.....but I want a setup usable on the street.I tried many timing setup...
The car is a zenith,rebuilt
Any suggestion?

I've heard of using a stock Hondamatic cam on turbo applications as they don't have much overlap like the shifter engines.

It run!!!

Problem solved.I worked on it for about 1 month(when I had time to work on it).
Tonight I decide to remove the turbo setup and install a stock carb setup.I removed the headpipe....exhaust pipes....turbo....intake manifold.....WHAT!?!? Someone drill a hole under the manifold with 1/8 npt thread....probably to fit a pressure gauge....but there is already a factory outlet for a gauge.
I put a plug in it,reinstall everything,start,adjust carb and it's done.All this time for a F****** hole!!!! But it run!!!! unbelivable sound,run like a V8,idle fine at 1500 rpm.
