Strap him to a Honda part, so we can still claim he "rode" a Honda around the world! ;)
Don't fix it if it ain't broke!
Helmets save brains. Always wear one and ride like everyone is trying to kill you....

I can find something "Honda" as a souvenir from down under that he can bring back home with him.
In fact, I think that I have an old Honda badge (a small one) that I'm sure he'd like.  8)

I would certainly be interested in riding a section. I live in the Burdekin area and would be happy to ride at least to Cairns if that section is part of the route. Maybe it is an opportunity to repeat the route taken by that rider that rode around Australia many years ago for a bet. I think the bet was worth $20000.00. Pat

Seriously, job done Jerry. ;D
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Here's what we're up against when Godzilla arrives.
I think that we can handle it.

Just as a start, this is a bit of an idea of where some of us are which can be expanded.
Let's see a show of hands guys.
We can work this out together.

If I was you
I'd be worried about me.

Dave 500 is half an hour from me as well Mick... ;)  Terry built an engine for another guy up my way as well....
Frostyboy  is in Townsville i think. There's a member in South Aus that built a nice little 500 cafe. I will do a search of as many Aussie members as i can and send out some pm's....  If all the Aussie members can help us make a list of current members we may not need to fly GZ anywhere....

Sounds good mate.

I know that PeterCB750 is in Adelaide or a bit south and Adam (Ace) is/was stationed at RAAF Tindal near Katherine.
He was up here in Darwin just recently for a visit.
I reckon that Terry would know where he is.

It shouldn't be too much of a mission to round up some troops and then work out what to do from there.
Depending on the time of the year (especially up here with the Wet Season) and the distances from A to B, if we all put our heads together, it will happen for sure.
If I was you
I'd be worried about me.

Frostyboy  is in Townsville i think.
Ooops, not quite. I'm at Greenbank just south of Brissie. I'll be more than happy to play, but for how long will depend on roster &/or if I can get some leave in time. I already have my t'shirt & patch, paid the rego on the bike today so I'm all set.

Just so others can gauge the size of our big brown land, here's a couple of maps.

Last year I joined a support group for procrastinators.
We haven't met yet.

Thanks for looking in Charlie. Have a look in the world tour section of the forum for a round up of things so far. Basically the SOHC forum is riding around the entire US and Canada before heading to NZ then Australia. They are carrying :"Godzilla" as a mascot, he is handed off to the next group of guys and will finally arrive here after his journey to NZ. We are trying to get enough riders together to circumnavigate the country { or as close as possible} until Godzilla makes his way to Europe and the rest of the world......Pretty cool eh..... ;D  Godzilla is only to ride on SOHC honda's......

You have to buy all the beer (real beer, not that NSW poop) and make all the Vegemite sandwiches Charlie! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

well if I have to make the sandwiches you bastards have to eat them - and I 'll put my secret ingredient in to make it all the more fun... and no to the beer - I can't afford to throw my retirement money at you piss heads.

If I don't have a SOHC anymore - can I still do the ride? Promise I won't embarrass anyone.
I still have my CX500, and another Turbo model - but their cam is not really an overhead sort..

let me know - cheers guys..

Yes indeed! The only rule is that a SOHC/4 has to CARRY the baton, all riders and make/model of machine are welcome. PM the grand poo-bah Jerry and he will add you to the list of riders:
