K7 footpegs lowering kit ?

Hi Guys
Anyone with experience in a sort of footpegs lowering kit ? maybe some adapters fitting original holders and which lowers the footpegs ?  8)

That would make cornering interesting
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Exactly, I already have problems with standard K7 pegs..

The purpose is? Looks or your comfort?

No kits were or are available to do that to my knowledge. They would have to be custom made if that is what you want.

Lowering the pegs will definitely effect cornering angle clearance of the pegs.

Having a taller seat or adding a pad on top of the seat while you ride that is made of 1 1/2" thick memory foam in a sheepskin cover would be a better option if you are wanting better comfort for your taller inseam(if that is your thinking of comfort). I added a thick pad on my goldwing seat to get my leg angle better for me and have put the pad on my 750 for longer rides for a more comfortable ride. I tried the airhawk cushion but that didn't get me high enough. So I had an old Alaska gel pad with hooks and pulled the leaking gel pack out then cut an 1 1/2" memory foam office chair pad to fit in. It works though not aesthetically pleasing to the eye. If riding to a show, off comes the pad at the show and I put it into a pack to hide the pad for the show.

Exactly, I already have problems with standard K7 pegs..

The ends were ground down on my K8 also.......

Real easy way.. take the footage rubber off..
 You can then go back to stock at any time. .

Good point! Rubbers are quite thick, so it will help for sure.

Hi Guys

Thanks for all the advices :) I guess many of you goes roadracing in extreme cornering with your Hondas  :D
I cant remember being down scraping footpegs on my Honda yet :) I think the CB 750 has a rather high distance up to the footpegs
I once had a Shovelhead that were bad in cornering , - but thats another story :)

I think ill start removing the rubber on the pegs to test it .....

Our CB750K from 70's in stock setup does not have much clearance while cornering. I scratched quite many times side stand and pegs on both sides. Fortunately not pipes

okay maybe this flat country Denmark  dont have so many tough corners ....... but try corner hard with a shovelhead with floorboards and then it gets funny :) :)
I have now moved footpeg rubbers and it helped quite a bit on the issue ........only its now  a bit uncomfy for the feets :) :)  but what heck ...you cant get everything in the game :) :)
