A question for the UK crowd.
The grocery store across the street had a porter in the cooler called St Peter's old style porter. The bottle says it's brewed in Suffolk England.
I gotta say it real tasty and makes my eyes all blurry, any of you guys tasted/heard of it?

Yep, it's brewed about 15 miles from me. The bottles didn't used to (maybe still don't) have a best-before date as the brewer wasn't confident in it lasting til a specific date. Try some Greene King or Adnams instead, it's much better!

If you can find it, get some King and Barnes Old Porter.  Unfortunately, I haven't seen any of the K&B ales since I used to sell them at Whole Foods Market back in Austin.  They're all bottle conditioned, so they just get better with age.

I've had the dubious pleasure of tasting "old speckled hen" after a couple under my belt they tasted real fine.
