A brand new forum today and it already has 2 pages of threads.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

A big thanks to the clever person that did it,  8) 8) 8) 8) 8) no doubt, if you did your own search, this is what you would have found. ::)

Now if I can get whoever did it to get the main title right. ;D ;D ;D

We have had requests for model specific forums in the past. The reasons for not going that route are that many of the same questions/answers are applicable across models and years. Segregating the models would lead to folks overlooking answers to their own questions and perhaps not getting valuable answers and info. from others because they were focused on another model's forum.

In this instance, it was felt the 750A was unique enough in many aspects to warrant being singled out this way. Hope this explains the rationale, but there aren't any plans to further segregate the forums by other models.
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

Simon darling, it had nothing to do with me, I just gave Glenn a little push. ;D ;D ;D

Since I changed my user name, I've been bombarded with questions about Automatics and as I don't know sod all about them apart from they don't have a clutch leaver, thought it might be time for a dedicated section where Mr Jon Weeks can go to town and have a field day. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Regards, your best mate Sam. ;) Bob Wessner said you might be trouble. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Sam,

We've avoided splitting off models into their own forum, but I do think it might be appropriate for the 750A since it is a bit unique in a lot of ways.  I'll add Bob and Steve to this reply to get their thoughts.  If we do this, I'd be happy to give you moderator privs.

OK with me. We will likely get quized about it and have to explain ourselves.

The forum title still needs to be fixed!  ;D
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

This is an excellent idea! I love the Hondamatics, simply because they are so unique, but not so far off the beaten path that they're impossible to get anything for.

I like them so much I started a Facebook group for them a couple years ago.

Oops!  I'll fix the title now.  CB740A?  My eyes aren't what they used to be and vanity prevents me wearing glasses...  If you would like any explanatory text - a little blurb about the forums or the bike they relate to, PM me and I will add it as well.  BTW, I did a search on CB750A and moved all of the topics directly related to this forum.

GOT 400-450-750cc HONDAMATIC'S
« Reply #17 on: July 28, 2011, 07:30:59 AM »
HONDAMATIC OWNERS : I drag race HONDAMATIC'S and buy many MATIC bikes in OHIO and states around OHIO [ 2000 MILES limit ] Do not need the extra parts I take off for drag racing [ carbs, airbox, tail lights ,turn signals, etc. ] I have a perfect CB750A 1976 and a perfect CM450A that I ride daily [ have extra motors for my 400-450-750cc race bikes ]  If a rider of these great bikes needs a certain part they cannot find then get in touch with me as I do-not need to make money selling parts but want to see these  "ol timers " stay on the road. Folks circle my PERFECT BIKES when I ride them to a event and ask this = Why did HONDA not promote these simple easy to ride bikes [ with no clutches ] for first time riders ?? I smile , hit the button and ride off to " meet the other " NICEST PEOPLE ON A HONDA " or anyone who has this love for motorcycles I have had all my life.
