Can you identify this cap?
« on: July 25, 2011, 06:39:03 AM »
Found this old radiator cap. Can any of you restoration buffs help me identify what it came from? Egg shaped thing. Could not find anything like it on eBay. Click pic to enlarge it.

looks like a gas cap to me...but what do i know.

What I do know is that it would look sick on top of my Black Bomber gas tank.  Any idea if it fits?  If so, you selling it?

Doubt it would fit the gas tank. The neck is to deep.

think the guts could be swapped out for the guts of a gas cap that would fit??

It is just pretty sweet looking...and I'm putting the finishing touches on my project...
