Coolest delivery of parts
« on: July 14, 2011, 09:26:53 AM »
Well thanks to Spiider, I now have front and rear turn signals for my CB550!!!!
The cool part was this morning around 11 am. The wife and I are sitting in the living room. We hear loud pipes from a bike. We both look at one another thinking it may be my friend who recently got new pipes for his bike.... The wife looks out the window and she is like WTF, this a new biker buddy? I say what are you talking about? I look out the window and a man maybe in mid 50's driving a decked out Harley walking up to my door with a box... The delivery guy drives a Harley and is dropping off BIKE parts... How ironic....  8)

I have a little company that makes climbing gear of sorts. Last Friday afternoon a customer called and needed some parts PRONTO... just so happens he lives right down the street from me.
On my 750... I delivered a backpack full of stuff to him at 9am on a Saturday morning so he could finish his project by noon. No shipping charge of course  ;D
He was thrilled and amazed that we could deliver so soon on such short notice, and amused at the method as well. You meet the nicest people on a Honda.  8)

That's neat, that you could deliver parts via mc.
