CB500K clutch plate spec

I just checked the friction plates on my recently purchased CB500K (for which I have no history) and they all measure out between 3.30mm and 3.33mm.

Problem is the specs in the manual show 2.6mm with 2.3mm being the low spec.

Is this a problem?

I had an overly thick set in a 350f engine I swapped into my bike. The clutch did not work until I replaced the friction disks with a spare used set I had that were thinner. Does your clutch work?

in my honda cb500 shop manual printed in 1972 it states the friction disk thickness as 3.3 mm [0.13] and the service limit as 3.0 mm [0.11]

Clutch spring free length as 31.9 mm    Service limit 30.5 mm

Unknown if it works right now. I have the r. side cover off and can see 2 to 3mm of movement on the pressure plate.

Glad to hear on the manual. I have no idea why mine says 2.3mm unless they are referring to the grey metal plates in between the clutch plates?
