Turn Signal
« on: August 07, 2011, 02:26:33 PM »
Hi all, cannot find an answer, I put LED turn signals and LED flasher on my 1974 CB750. How do I get the idiot light for the turn signal indicator to work now. Thank you.

This is an odd circuit that lights the indicator bulb through the not-on signal bulb. Tthe indictor is wired across the power wires to the signal lamps, getting the stock bulb to work with LED signals will be a trick. Getting an LED indicator to work... likewise I think. Probably powering a small relay through a diode from each signal lamp wire then powering the indicator via the relay contact is the only way.

I used led signals and an electronic flasher from the auto parts store and my gauge indicator works...Larry
