I love my garage. Last weekend I took EVERYTHING out to the driveway and cleaned all that needed it. Threw #$%* out and reorganized as I put #$%* back in. Its a good feeling to be done. Its amazing some of the crap I have hoarded for years.  Beer, tunes, and clean garage!

If it ain't raining, I'm riding.....~~{iii}?~~prost

If it sounds like I know what I'm talking about, it's because I cut and pasted from someone else.

The garage is my sanctuary.  Even when it's 100 degrees out there I can often be found just hanging out, drinking a beer, throwing darts or coming up with some project that doesn't really need to be done.  I got my laptop mainly so I can have access to the forums out there.

I just spent all day yesterday cleaning the house and doing laundry so I can spend all day today hanging out in the garage and "working" on the bikes. 8)

Why would I want to hide something that I've spent years developing and perfecting? ??? ;D

It's a scientifically proven fact that beer tastes better in the garage.

She probably just wants the space back in the kitchen fridge. ;D

I'm suffering from serious beer fridge withdrawal here.  At the house in Denver I had the full-time beer fridge in the basement in the room right next to the TV room, and the Spring/Summer beer fridge in the garage.  I was very spoiled.  I really need to get one for the garage in the new house, not only for bottled beer but also so I can get my homebrewing going again.  Since this is Texas I can get by with just one because I won't have to empty it out for the Winter months.

I will admit that I do have a small fridge in the work shop but I'm too cheap leave it plugged in all the time when I'm not using it.
(there's also a computer, tiny Teevee, and stereo too. ;D )
I'd have a couch too but it would just become a home for scorpions. ::)

Sounds like mine.  I have the laptop, thrift store stereo, 12" Sony TV I found in the alley a few years ago and the PS2 which is used for games and playing DVDs.

I owned a home in FL several years ago with a 2 car garage.  Project car, 2 bikes, and tools galore.  Oh yea, also a nice TV, DVD player, stereo system, and mini-fridge stocked with beer.  I had about 5 seasons of MotoGP and AMA races at my disposal...I spent more time there than I did in my office, and I was in grad school at the time.  I practically lived in the garage.

I've now downsized and live in a carriage house.  No garage.  Solution?  I work on my bike in the shade in my back patio, and have taken over a corner of my tiny galley kitchen as a "work area" for the bike.  Last weekend I woke up, hopped out of bed, walked 15 ft, made breakfast, turned around and reassembled my carbs  :P

Now I officially live in my "garage" ;D

Most awesome!!! First time I heard of a member (or anyone else for that matter!) having a stripper pole in the shop. I don't think I'd get much work done in there!! Man....you would always have to have a stash of dollar bills on hand!!!

The Mrs.  left her MB outside in the snow last winter so the K1 could park in the garage.   Hmmm ... thinking about it maybe she wanted me to be in the garage too  :o

Recent rumblings have told me that she wants to park the MB in the garage this winter  ... sharing the space  :-[
