I owned a home in FL several years ago with a 2 car garage. Project car, 2 bikes, and tools galore. Oh yea, also a nice TV, DVD player, stereo system, and mini-fridge stocked with beer. I had about 5 seasons of MotoGP and AMA races at my disposal...I spent more time there than I did in my office, and I was in grad school at the time. I practically lived in the garage.
I've now downsized and live in a carriage house. No garage. Solution? I work on my bike in the shade in my back patio, and have taken over a corner of my tiny galley kitchen as a "work area" for the bike. Last weekend I woke up, hopped out of bed, walked 15 ft, made breakfast, turned around and reassembled my carbs

Now I officially live in my "garage"
