It's a Hobbit? Dig a hole in the ground for it!

Lol  ;D
A very weird mix of parts to create a bike that looks like it was designed/built by someone on crack.

Yep, and in this instance I feel sorry for the original moped, it was probably a cute little thing. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Just saw this on one of the SOHC4 FB sites, some poor bugger in Sweden is looking for a frame for this thing, I suggested that he confirms that the engine is salvageable before he worries about the frame, I'm betting that the inside of the engine looks a lot like the outside........ ;D

Some Marvel Mystery Oil & Scotchbrite and it'll be shining in no time.

Is this the poster child for leaving the factory clear on?

He said that it wasn't a barn find, it was a swamp find, and I thought, "So why do you think that the engine is anything but a barnacle encrusted boat anchor?" but I think it's his first CB750 and he's excited to turn it back into a bike. Might be a bridge too far, methinks...... ;D

Not a bike but fits the bill.

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1974-datsun-260z-54/

I almost bought a Datsun 240Z back in 1978, I thought it was about the coolest Japanese car I'd ever seen. That thing is a garish pile of poop. ;D

Great, now I've got Mark Hamil from the movie Corvette Summer stuck in my head saying, "a Datsun? It's a Datsun." :o

Ha! Found it.

The 240Z was/is a magnificent car, the best I could do back then was a Mazda RX2 coupe which crapped all over big heavy V8’s, but my current toy (Subaru twin turbo B4) that’s been “breathed on” would leave the RX2 in its dust, not to mention being able to stop and go around corners. Only sad thing is that with constant 4WD it won’t do burnouts. ;D

The 240Z was/is a magnificent car...

It truly is.   Back in '70 when it came out, it was a lot like what the CB750 was to motorcycles  [reliable, inexpensive, better than British and fun to drive/ride!]

We are toying about buying this one...

That seems pretty nice actually. I remember a few kit cars based on these but I've never seen a stock looking conversion.
I wonder if the JDM market had only the coupes we got in the States or if there was ever a factory drop top?
