Like an idiot I posted this in the wrong thread. So I'm reposting this in all its magnificent glory....
I’ve ridden something like that. No U turns....... Sold it!
Wow,is that an Amen frame chopper ?
Looks great;excellent show-piece.
“Carlini Hardhead” From “Carlini Cycle Creations” in Detroit, circa1972. Tony Carlini was famous for building the earliest Honda Four choppers. It is an Amen (American Engineering Co.) frame. He raked the headstock and extra 15* and built the chrome front ends from scratch. His shop also sold the coffin tanks (built by a neighbour in Detroit). Somewhere in the project files I have a thread about the history, purchase and light restoration. It now rests in Indianapolis, with a gentleman who collects choppers! I decided to sell it when I couldn’t find road insurance for it here.....
Terry is correct. My Sandcast project motorcycle came with the chopper as an “extra” bonus.... I kind of miss the beast, but it did take up a LOT of space in my shop!
