All the big Jap 4 had their problems mate. Suzuki thought that rotary engines might be a good idea, and Kawasaki had problems with their early EFI and their Turbo 750. (great bike that it was)

I think the problem was that they were in such a hurry to get their "Latest and Greatest" bike into the showrooms, that their R&D didn't have enough time to test them, and find all their faults, before the new owners got their mitts on them.

It's a shame, I had an early TX500 and I loved it, but I knew it was a potential hand grenade. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Now that's a rare beast, a Yamaha TX750. They were a disaster for Yamaha, a truly horrible bike. I watched, fascinated, as one vibrated across the sidewalk on it's center stand one Saturday morning in 1973, and ended on it's side in the gutter. It was like it wanted to die. Kind of sad, really............ ;D
Didnt Norton have a bike like that as well? A 2cyl 750 that shook itself apart.

My heart goes out to that poor poor motor. Such a fine piece of engineering is stuck powering such a...no brainer waste of time turdmobile. I bet it was bone stock with 700 miles when found.

Are you sure? CL ad said it was a Magnum engine, and they have a Magnum frame for sale.

Then he is a liar. Front end and wheels are puch. But the motor in a puch looks like this.

Ah my bad, the ad says "Sky Hawk GT5," I must've misread.

This was posted a while ago on craigslist, and it either sold and is being sold again, or has been put up again.

Taste or lack of abounds and lots of different taste out there...
Pipeburn must be hard up for material?  Or, people just haven't seen the volume of good and bad examples the enthusiasts here have?

Has the rear highway bars...
Caiman mounted on the bars that are encased in what? Gator arms or tail?
Then there is the fully stocked mini freezer/fridge on the rear rack.
the pic truely belongs in this thread.

Also oversized battery on the side, ash tray on the front fender, vanity mirror, and some sort of custom pine floor bards. Also just out of frame im sure is a bit of vomit from somebody who saw the bike.

That a vertical exhaust stack complete with cherry bomb glass pack in the pipe for those high water crossings/river fjording events. Plus as you can see, it provides a secondary safety stop for the cooler lid. That high capacity battery aids in those hard right handers plus it can keep his beverages in icey cold water for the whole weekend without a recharge.
The red/pink paddle must be for swatting mosquitoes during traffic stops and beating off gators and crocs that get too close. (Don't know what he uses for the big exotic snakes breeding in the glades and down in the bayou.
The modern freshly polished brass horn on the handlebars complete with large black  "airbag" to protect his forehead and sound the horn when he rolls forward hard on those sudden stops.
The former molded plastic chair from his old boat provides superior support for around town and long trips as well as carving up the twisty roads in the area.

Truely a feature laden machine...
That thar its a wreck-re-asshunal vehicle
