here you go, not necessarily an abomination, but well on the way. Check out the rear shock mounts for your starter

“I’ll never finish it”. He should have never started it….. Nice tank though, I think he gave up when he realised that he can only turn his handlebars about 10 degrees in either direction without hitting the tank. At least the frame isn’t chopped up, so someone could take that crap off and restore it, if he hasn’t sold off the original forks and wheels, etc. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Is that mess behind the front forks a set of raised floorboards and relocated shifter? Some truely ugly hacks have been done to that poor sport bike...

I can just imagine the builder of that mess..  ::)

I think that pile of VFR800 parts collection should be sold for less than $500('liberate' that poor VFR,get it away from there),then take off all the odd parts and put the VFR back to stock  ;) There's still a good bike underneath all that stuff.

I reckon the owner of the classic BMW would probably want his headlight back…. ;D

Tongue in cheek comment. That headlight can make any ugly 'custom' bike even worse when done like that.

Probably kinda like what the guy that built that VFR had in mind...............oops, swing and a miss!  Very creative, I wouldn't mind a test ride on it!

I like that bike, it could only ever be a drag bike with those headers requiring the forks to be raked out so much, but it's very well done. ;D

900cc and 180hp make for a pretty potent 2 stroke engine. There were some drag racers who owned a greenhouse down the road from my shop and I think one of their kids drove a small rail type of dragster based off a snowmobile engine in some type of class. Maybe Don is familiar with all that.
I think its a pretty cool well done contraption. Long live the 2 stroke !!

The article gives more photos and details on the conversion...it is well done, unlike many that get posted here.
The weight of it is gonna be a strange distribution but the exhaust pipes likely don't weigh a ton, just super bulky expansion chambers...

I actually think it’s one of the better uses for a CB200, it might even do the speed limit now! ;D

If I was wanting a really nippy commuter, I’d much rather the “Street Sweeper” than a stock CB200. ;D

Looking at the profile of the front and rear tire I bet it would be interesting through corners.
