That bike is "Badass". It says so, so it must be. I do like the towel rails, a touch of class.....

I think those pair of hand rails on the tank are for when you just sent your seat out to be restored;those rails are for having an 'abrasive,jerk' of a person lay down on the frame and 'act as the seat'.. 
You sit on top of the person's back to help cushion some of the bumps in the road:you wouldn't want to ride on just frame rails with no seat,right?  That GW seat looks like it needs(too much foam,imo)some work done to it.
Those hand rails are for the human 'seat' to hang-on to while underway,while the foam seat is in the shop. A section in the rear of the faux fuel tank cover can be removed where the fuel fill cap is,so that the person's head can fit which will allow the human/'seat' to keep an eye on the electrics while underway 

I admit,it's better to have a Real foam motorcycle stock seat;I imagine a person as a 'seat' would get real uncomfortable  

This post might match some of the abominations we've seen on this thread;it could be the 'abominable ones' are the individuals who created some of these machines.. The machines can be fixed,but the ones who built these things?  I'm not too sure about that.

This is truly an abomination.  I do not recognize the frame from any 1934 Triumph model.  It may have been heavily modified, or it may be from a different brand of motorcycle.  The engine is a 1949-1960.  From 1961 on they had an aluminum cylinder head. 

I sent the link to a buddy that's a Triumph expert, to see what he says.

That reminds me that I need to visit my cuz when I drive down to Bairnsdale to see my Ma next weekend, he’s got a 1922 BSA something or other that he thinks I need more than him. I don’t need any more bikes, but restoring a 101 year old bike might be fun.

It will probably just leak oil like the newer British bikes. But that's how we all if we get that old.

Ha ha, yes Jim, at one point in history BSA was the biggest motorcycle manufacturer in the world, which probably necessitated the invention of another couple of products, degreaser, concrete cleaner and pressure washers…..

I will be sure to not let my wife see that information. I don't think that I would like to be sprayed with decreased and pressure washed...............after all I too am very old! 🙈🙉🙊
