Mine's an Li150 with an Imola 190 kit and a JL exhaust. It's a torqued-out death trap which is now semi-retired and limited to grocery store trips.

So people are paying that much for 7" punk wax?
I guess there are collectors for everything and people willing to pay ridiculous prices.

Do you have any Led Zepplin classic records reissues?

I'm just as amazed as you are. I guess some of these old punks grew up and have good jobs to fund their record collecting habit.
No Zeppelin on Classic right now. I wish I would have bought a bunch of those back then and sat on them.

A lot of the people buying up the highly collectible punk records from the '70s and '80s are actually just investors who know that the prices on some stuff will never come down. Those early Dischord singles, the Fix 7"s, Misfits singles... not to mention Japanese and Finnish records. Try and find a State Children single or the Typhus flexi. I know a lot of the folks dumping this stuff now who figured out they could put a down payment on a house by selling stuff they bought for $3-5 new...

ya gotta remember folks, those original hardcore punk records were a pressing of certainly not more than 500 copies and the bands are familiar now to more people than when they were actually around ???...Johnny, I have bought many records from your store in the past...great store...most I ever paid for a 7" though was $25 for a Rudimentary Peni record after trading in a bunch of stuff.

I take care of the other side of this.

I build turntables for a living.

Not my company unfortunately though.

I am a hifi nut and semi serious record collector though. Cool industry to work in, most of our managers are pretty serious about there vinyl.

Here's another one I just listed:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Batiste-Brothers-Band-Freeze-LP-Original-Sealed-Funk-/380356191015?pt=Music_on_Vinyl&hash=item588efee327
It's funny, because folks will come in to the shoppe and assume their Pink Floyd record is really valuable. The reality is records like the one above (or the aforementioned punk 45's) are valuable due to their scarcity. EVERYONE had Pink Floyd records in their collection. Very few had a Batiste Brothers Band record (and even fewer left it sealed).
Now, if I could just find buyers for all these Johnny Mathis records....

Johhny, i have a couple of bootleg Ozzy Osbourne records from the early 80's, they feature Randy Rhodes live {Rhodes was never on any live recordings officially. They are in perfect condition and have unmarked labels, one is called "bats head soup" and the other i would have to dig out to see. Do you think they would be worth anything.......Need money for bike building..... :P

Bootlegs are tough. So much depends on the sound quality of the recording. Also, you can't typically list them on eBay - so your market is limited. My eBay account was suspended a few years ago for selling a Grateful Dead bootleg LP (of all things!)
I did find a listing for that recording on Musicstack:
http://www.musicstack.com/listings.cgi?find=bats+head+soup&search_type=title&media=vinyllp
Depending on condition, I'd probably try to sell it in my store for around $30.
What else you guys got?

What company if I might ask?

I work for Rega.

I am turntable supervisor and i build all the high end decks (P5, P7 and P9).

I originally built the amps and CD players but although i build all my own Hi Fi equipment, turntables are my most knowledgeable subject so as soon as they could they moved me over to that department.

Cool! Until recently, my turntable of choice was an older (pre-RB300 tonearm) P3. I still use my Planet CD player. That's gotta be a pretty sweet gig!
