New from Japan,Aichi prefecture

Hello everyone,

I am from Aichi prefecture of Japan.
OldSchool_IsCool invited me this site and now I have joined.

By the way,my first motorcycle was GB250 and I owned GB500 when I was young.
I sold GB500 to customize Yamaha SR500.  https://sites.google.com/site/yamahasr500sr400/home
Recent interest is Hawk GT and 1997 CB400four NC36 which is Japan domestic model. http://www.honda.co.jp/factbook/motor/CB400/19970400/001.html

And I like to find customized 1992 CB400superfour NC31 like following;

I am not tall,so middle range of displacement like 400cc is good enough for me.
I am curious the first CB750 as we see often restored CB750 in Japan these days.
Which is incredibly beautiful with modern parts.

Hello Ito and welcome!
You have done some very nice work.
Good to know that you are offering to help with sourcing parts from Japan.
I have fully restored my 78 CB750K here near Toronto with original parts. These parts are not rare but they are not common either. Often I have had to look for some time. Honda still provides many of the consumable items.
Repro exhaust pipes for the 77-78 would be a hot item I think.

Where in Aichi are you? I have been to Nagoya several times as well as surrounding towns. You have some great roads for riding. And of course famous Sakura Skyline drive - for that I rented a Honda CB400.

Hi Andy,

I live in Inuyama-city where locates north of Aichi prefecture.
How did you feel CB400four ride?
I have never owned in-line four before.
Used CB400Superfour(Non V-tech) is inexpensive so good for customizing.
I would like to modify it to cafe racer. ;D

Welcome Ito! I'm glad we are now represented by a citizen of Japan. There seems to be a large following of the CB750 in Japan and some amazing work is being done there. Perhaps the language barrier is the reason we do not have more Japanese members. Please invite others to join also.

Perhaps in 2012 we can send "IT" to Japan to continue the legacy in the birthplace of Honda.

I am thinking to buy CB750Four to learn CB750four.
I am going to buy used magazine to save money.
