Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

Sounds good MJ!  Are you planning to come in the night before?  Need a place to flop?  I'm not sure what time we plan to get rolling, guessing anywhere between 9 and noon.

I was really hoping to get the bike running in time to put on at least a few miles on this trip.... Unfortunately I just got it fired up yesterday and although most things seem to be fine I'm not comfortable putting any real miles on it quite yet, at least not to far from home... I guess I'll have to catch the second world tour. It hurts just to type it.....

Aw dang, GR!  Would you feel comfortable riding to Hastings and back?  You could carry/escort the beast from one side of town to the other perhaps.  You don't have to go far with GZ to be considered a year one rider!!

That was my intention this morning when I got up early to put on some miles... However, there still appears to be something wrong, no surprise, and I never got it to start. Battery is on the charger now.... Words can not begin to express my frustration and disappointment; although, I did try out a few choice four letter words out to no avail....

Way to go OldSchool!!  Great planning and coordinating. The Green Manalishi must of gotten to close to GZ, cause I lost 4th gear last night on the way home :'(  Guess gnashing of teeth and claws has put an end to the GM's part in the relay.  Loads of fun with everyone yesterday.

I still am planning on being available as a chase vehicle as you all proceed to Interlochen and the Bridge.  Prolly won't follow on Thursday, but will still be in the vicinity.

We're planning to hug the Lake Michigan shore. We should be easy to spot.

I worry a bit about my cell coverage (ATT). There was no signal in Hell LOL!

You'll be pretty SOL looking for AT&T signal north of The Bridge too... but a whole herd of vintage Hondas will be easy to spot!

About what time will breakfast at Interlochen be?  I'll be meeting everyone there or somewhere on 31 depending on when I leave Mackinaw.

I'm hooking up on Thursday, Day 3. If you don't have a signal at the Cycle Moore campground We can probably exchange messages through the campground office. By Wednesday night I was hoping to know what time you were leaving Interlochen on Thursday morning. I'll call Cycle Moore and see if they can tell me if the AT&T signal is any good there.

Hey Guys,

Looks like I'm going to have to shorten my participation by quite a bit. My front brake lines went bad over the weekend and one of the exhaust studs broke off, so considering I don't want to ride too awful far without front brakes I was thinking I'd go as far as St. Johns on Day 2 before I turn around. It sucks considering how much I've been looking forward to this. I'll still be meeting up Tuesday Night in KZO though! I'd need to lose my rear brakes too to consider backing all the way out.

Also here's my cell number for call/text: 616 two three eight 8002

Let's try this:

Fuzz, what would be a good time to arrive at the Soo?  How long will it take for us to get there assuming we hug the shore (31, 119, bridge, 134 & 129)?

Add an hour and that will be breakfast time. Can anyone suggest a good breakfast place near Cycle Moore or north along 31?

Hey Jkidd,

Damn!  Sorry to hear about ur brake line!  Check with Carquest. The one in Battle Creek can make hydraulic lines while you wait!  Not sure if they can/will do bike lines.

Banker suggests we tip a few at Bell's downtown. That sounds pretty good to me!  I plan to join in if can finish wrenching tonight and only have to pack on Tue.

Hotel is an option, but if you (or Banker) need a place to flop, I have one bed and one sofa.

I might take you up on that. The $40 I save on the room could be saved for more important things like beer, food and gas.
