5 years in the making with this thing. I really got into high gear when I cut my advancer spring down some. That really seemed to help with idle issues I had. Months ago I realized the PO wrote me a bill of sale but never actually signed it
Over the months I did some hand wringing over what to do. A few days ago, I decided to look through old email and see if I had anything. Bingo, found the guy. He had moved but only a few blocks away. I did up another bill of sale, had someone from the sheriff's office verify the VIN and today it was registered!
A few small issues though. One, I've been battling the front brake. When you apply the brake, the brake pad seems to get wedged in the caliper. I noticed it long ago but never got around to it. I'm also looking for an exhaust.
At any rate, it is road legal as of today and I can now get it out on the road for more thorough testing.
