This is what my son Justin brought home last night. WOW!!!!

I guess he wants to be above the crowd ;)

When my garage gets full I can always park my 750's under the truck :)

kinda hard to hitch a trailer to that, and the ramp you'll need to load a bike......

But it's a Chevy, the boy has good sense.  ;D

Yeah I told him it wasn't real practical because all he could do with it was drive around and show it off and than when he needed a truck to do some real work in he would still have to borrow my 1990 Silverado ;)

Nah, you can always add a drop hitch! I'd hate to pay to replace those tires, though!!

I sure miss my '85 Silverado swb.  Someone wanted as bad as me.  The month old 350 4 bolt crate motor went with it too.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

If he can afford the gas for it, it should be a lot of fun!

Dookie, funny thing to say when we ride motorcycles, don't you think? Being that the primary purpose of a streetbike is pleasure. Sure you can use it as your only transportation but it is about as useful as a jacked up truck. Well, unless you had to haul a washer, take junk to the landfill, ect.

I save money when I ride to work each day on my bike as opposed to driving my car and truck, that thing just sucks green out of yer wallet with wild abandon.
How much will that set you back when it is time for a new set of tires?

And that is entirely true but again, the most common use for a motorcycle is recreational. You can go buy a prius and save more in gas than a cb. Or you could get a little scooter if you really want to save gas. Again, what can a cb haul beside 1 or 2 people as compared to that truck? How many feet of snow can you get through on a cb?

hey, might not be that practical but back in the old home stompin grounds it would make a helluva swamp stump jumper.
I could see it covered in mud right now. Throw some dog boxes in the back, with a lift gate of course  ;), and off to the swamp to coon hunt.

This truck is a toy.  Why are we arguing about its practicality or lack of?

Having said that, while many or most motorcycles are only used as toys, they can be (and many are) used as an efficient means of transporting one or two people.  A truck like this will only ever be a toy, except in some very few circumstances and locations.  Unless you live in one of those few locations don't try to justify the purchase and running costs by saying you can haul stuff.  That's just ridiculous.

Gordon, it all depends on your lifestyle and where you live. I am pretty sure that winter would prove that truck much more useful than a motorcycle. Do you think alaskans would want a motorcycle or a truck like that?
