Topic: Hey Milwaukee folks..... where should I drink Beer!

Driving from Indianapolis with the wife to see some good music in Milwaukee on Friday and would appreciate any good references for Brewpubs or whatever.  We're staying till Sunday and will likely hit up the Art Museum on Saturday unless we're distracted with something else.

If the world was perfect... .357 String Band(http://www.streetgrass.com/)  would be playing somewhere on Saturday night.... but if anyone knows of another good show please speak up!

uhh...surprise surprise...good places to drink beer in Milwaukee are literally everywhere...I'm not from there, just been there many times...you are gonna have a good time

Well geez... a good place in Milwaukee to drink... Yes everywhere. But if your looking for espically good places heres a short list:

Rock Bottom Brewery right on the riverfront. Great place to sit on the patio and watch all the boats.
Water Street Brewery on water street. Great beer and food, all kinds of of bars along the street.
Lakefront Brewery. Open on Friday night for their fish fry. usually a polka band playing. Great beer and fish.

Those are just a couple around downtown. Out aways there St. Francis Brewery, and the Horny Goat Hideaway.

And if your in to the late night drinking stop by Wolski tavern, stay till close, and get yourself one of the infamous "I Closed Wolski's" bumper stickers.
