Still got that new bike smell
« on: July 23, 2011, 12:43:31 pm »

'09 Suzuki SFV650 with 859 miles on the clock, just picked it up this morning.  I want to go riding but it is entirely too hot to do so!

You can see the CB500 hiding in the background - don't worry, she's still going to get my attention.  The new one is a way to ride while waiting for parts/working on the old SOHC!

1973 CB500K - not bad for a first bike
2009 SFV650 - torquey, reliable 90° V-twin

Our local dealer still has a brand new one that's a few years old sitting on the floor. If I had more money I'd love too see what kind of a deal they would make on it. They just seem like such great bikes. Enough power to have fun but not hit the ton in the blink of an eye. And I hear they get great milage.

I had a SV650 and it was a very fun bike.  The SV and my VFR are two bikes I should have never sold.
That scooter has an interesting frame.  Have fun riding, that looks to be a good back up bike.

Nice bike!
I got out riding last week in 100 degree weather, and it sucked!  :o
