Interior is decent. Needs a headliner as it's starting to fall down, and a tear is starting on the front seat. The body is bad, granted that picture was a couple years ago. I just ordered sheet metal for the cab, floor pans, front cab mount, rockers, corners, etc. Nobody wants to do body work anymore so I suspect I'll have to do it myself.Too few older crew cabs around to let this one go. It has a 7.3 IDI I built to replace the original 6.9 that lifted a head after a few years with a bigger pump and added turbo. Super simple mechanical engines, last forever if you don't go crazy on fuel and boost, but I built the 7.3 to take it for the long haul. Just plain works every time. I will never own another EFI vehicle, tried that once and it was never ending troubleshooting. I like stuff that just works.

I kneeboard mostly, friends wakeboard. The boat makes a great wake at slower speeds, it's a Saltare (23' model). 454... Great hole shot.First time the old man drove it pulling me I explained it's a big block and has plenty of power, demostrating how to roll into the throttle to pull someone up. He then proceeded to go WOT when I was ready, like on the little 4 bangers and V6 boats he was used to. I was hurting after that. I've had it about 11 years now and always said when the 454 dies I'll swap a 460, but it just plain works. The boat has been good to me though it's on original stringers so I'm sure it'll eventually need a restoration. Given I like old stuff and the insane cost of new inboards I'm inclined to keep this one the rest of my life.

I had to scroll through the thread to see if I commented before and found that I did twice, 11/26/2013 with my MGB-GT that I was driving at the time (picture 1 below) and then again last month with my current '13 Lincoln MKT.

In 2014 I pulled the MG off the road for a 6-month sill replacement job that has been in process for 8 years now. I did get the driver side sill and rear quarter replaced, then stalled in 2015 due to a job loss and never got back to it. It sat in my sister's driveway under a cover (most of the time) until last month when she finally made me move it. It is currently at a storage facility near her home under a fresh cover looking like this.

Hopefully by the end of October I will have it moved up to my garage and may actually get back to it over the winter. I also have a Fiero V6 and Camaro T5 to swap in to replace the very tired original engine which has at least 125,000 miles on it.

My 71' and 72' MGB-GT's are still parked after they went into limbo when I got diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer in 2015. The 72' still runs great I should put it back on the insurance and start driving it again. I was halfway through building a matched set of big valve 10 to 1 compression hotrod motors for them. Then I got sucked back into motorcycles and haven't got back to the MG's yet. They both need some sill work too.

I bought this Volvo C30 from a fellow club member. He had it forever and when his wife took it to trade on a new VW the dealer offered them $2500 (less than US$2,000)! I’ve never owned a Volvo, but always liked  the styling on this one.

Front brakes, two tires and we’ve been driving it for a year. 2.5 litre turbo with a six speed manual. No body notices it and we can cruise all day @ +140 KPH. Quiet, smooth runner that is real fun to drive! Came with a beautiful set of factory roof racks that are really handy too. I like it more every day.

The C30 was built on same platform as two other cars and was a nice handling car. Quirky but fun. It was a little on the high end of price for what it was, but they are safe and sporty enough to be entertaining when built as the sport models. Test drove one shortly after they came out and liked it, but wasn't enamored of it enough to put it on a list of cars I wanted to own.
Glad you got a good deal on it and are enjoying it. They are good cars and so far the Chinese group that owns them now hasn't killed their engineering of safety.

Stev-o!! Hey man, all good over here. Hope you're doing great. That 550 turbo...gone :( I really just have a '74 750 project and bare motors/frames/parts left. It's been a long time since I've ridden.
