1976 cb750a brake system tune up
« on: July 31, 2011, 02:13:58 PM »
Just unloaded my brand new 1976 CB750A!!! My first bike!!  She needs alot of attention. I am going to start with the breaks, since the front caliper is locked up on the disk. For safety and peace of mind I want to go through the whole system. I was hoping someone could give me some help on finding a rebuild kit for the caliper. I have seen master cyl. kits, but nothing for the 'matic caliper. Any help is greatly welcomed.

I can't say I've seen a "kit" (with all parts), but the parts (separately) are easy to find.

As always - you can start with Honda, and end with ebay.
1978 CB750A (upgrading very, very slowly)

Past bikes - Honda: SL350, CX650C, CB900C, CB1000C, CM450A; Kawasaki: several 1972 750 H2's; Suzuki: TC90J.

Bikes I want: CX650ED, a mid-sized japanese V-twin with ABS.
