CB650 seat on CB500???

Anyone know if a seat from a CB650 will work on a 'CB500?

Unlikely.

The picture of me on the left is on a 500 with a 550K3 tank and seat. The seat mounting was different by about 2 inches and I had to fabricate a new hinge bracket.

If the 550 seats won't fit, it's unlikely that the 650 will.
