How does the steering lock switch come out?
« on: November 17, 2013, 04:03:03 PM »
I got a full key set off ebay:  Ignition, seat latch and steering lock.  I have no idea how to get my steering lock out though.  Any ideas?

Ah found something.  I should have searched for "fork lock"

Remove the cover and it should come out with the key in it.
No matter how many times you paint over a shadow, it's still there.

the number for the key should be stamped on the top of the barrel. You'll need to buy one if you want to get the lock out without destroying it

Ah, yes it was.  It's way harder to see than the ignition and seat lock.  I hit it with a wire brush and got the number off it, thanks...
