K&L Rebuild kit for CB650 Question
« on: May 04, 2006, 12:03:33 PM »
Hey All,

I just picked up a set of K&L carb rebuild kits for my new '81 CB650 project bike, and it seems like the parts in the kit are wrong. It's K&L P/N#18-2572. I know it's for CV carbs, but some of the parts (like the needle jet holder) are a different size, etc. I've never rebuilt a motorcycle carb before (I'm an FI guy), so I'm not sure where to go from here. Any suggestions?

I dont know what to tell you.  I've never had to get a carb kit yet. Need too.  Dont let the CV's intimidate you they are not that complicated.  As always just do one at a time.

k&l kits seem to be a hit or miss proposition
