Interchangeable parts for 75' 550F 78' 550k

I got my rear grab bar from stev-o today and it doesn't fit due to my seat. Can I swap out my 75 seat to my 550k? I think I saw a post thread on this already and I believe it said no because the tank and seat coincide w one another for the model and year. Any insight would be helpful.

I don't understand - how is the seat in the way?

There is a possibility that grab bar is off a 550F. Sorry!

I think it is off an F. I took off the grab bar off my 550F and they the same...

 My pic is of a stock '78K with a '75 seat (had to get rid of the Corbin Gentry seat...). Stock '78 grab rail, tank, etc.

No modifications needed? Is the gas tank off of a 78 k?

 No mods needed. Gas tank is stock '78K.
