On that image of the carb/head interface-

Do you have any issues with the carbs with such an in-flexable (word?) union?

I have a Lotus 4 cylinder, and the Webers have to be "sprung" or the engine vibes screw things up worse than normal- (L.O.T.U.S. Lots Of Trouble, Usually Serious)

in regards to  switching rims do people ever keep the 19" on the front and switch the rear 18" for a 19".
then get tires with lower shoulders to compensate for ride height?

Back in the day my boss at the shop where I worked raced with a 19" rear on his CB750. He liked it because it helped with ground clearance and gave a bit of steering quickness. He was fast too.

rims size you mentioned 18's is that a standard switch these days? what tire size goes best with that combination? saw this bike, was a race winner for some years, looks well set up.

Does anybody recognize the fairing on this bike? It looks like the perfect size for a 500...

Why don't you contact haill about the 450 fairing. He posted the picture originally, and may know the owner.

It is sharp.

The owner is/was Ray Roberts. He was selling it...not sure if he still has it. You should be able to find him on the VRRA forum: http://www.vrra.ca/board/
