The old Gallery is locked and will be deleted eventually.

The new Gallery is here: www.sohc4.net/gallery

You will need to register as it's different s/w (unless you already have of course)

PM me if you have any more trouble.

PS: nice Goldwing.  Needs to be on the Gallery as it will quickly sink in this forum.

When I was looking for my first bike, I kept seeing old Goldwings and thought that they would look pretty cool without all the extra shtuff on them. I was right! That looks sweeeet! How hard was it to do? I think I'd like to do that for a future project.

Chassis is basically stock.

I put some drag bars on it which work better than the ol' buck horn bars.

The front fender is a fiberglas unit from god nows where. I never had the original front fender. If you don't have the original get a fork brace. Feels like the front end is mad of linguine otherwise. I made my brace out of one we had laying around. Once again no idea what it was originally for just that it fit the fork tubes in diameter. See photo

The rear seat is a corbin fiberglass pan that I stripped down. I built the fiberglass tail piece and stretched the seat back 1 and 1/2 inches. Mainly cuz I'm 6'3". definitely not a bike for short people.

The mufflers are some 17" reverse dunstall pipes I bought from emgo for like $50 bucks a piece. I just stuck'm on the ends of the factory header pipes lol

That and some $7 dollar paint off the reject shelf at my local paint supplier

Steve can I get my pics from the old gallery?     That was a couple computers ago and looking for the disks is harder than asking.

Terry,

Locate them in the old gallery and left click on the file name under the image and save it to your local disk, then use them to post in the new gallery. If you need a hand, I can save them and eMail them to you for you to post, just point me to your entry in the old gallery.
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

kghost, That's one good looking Wing!! I've seen a few pretty decent looking ones
but, yours is on top of the list. I've thought about it myself, I've always thought they could make
a decent, yet unusual looking bike and you've really done yourself proud on yours. Later on, Bill
