Topic: the latest honda addition to the garage...

picked this up over the weekend. its a 78 honda nc50 express. i got it for pretty much free (although about 40 bucks in gas to pick it up) it didnt run when i got it but being its a honda (and one of the simplest ones at that) i had it going within an hour. its been "previous owner'rd" with black spray paint and a welded on crank start, but its pretty complete and seems to run strong. my plan was to fix it and sell it at a profit but after playing on it all day that may be harder than i thought. you cant ride this thing without a big smile on your face. over the next couple months i plan on stripping it down, painting it, rebuilding the motor, and getting it back to stock. we'll see how much i still like it then to decide weather or not ill sell it.

depending on the intrest in it, i may do a build thread.

I see these things on CL all the time for sale that don't run for cheap.

ha yeah, im sure its been done... or at least attempted. ill keep it stock. thats easier. ill do a build thread on it. i wont be doing anything on it for a few weeks but when i do, ill post it
