I just picked up a 1979 CB650. It's the less cruiser-ish model. Not a huge fan of the comstar wheels but it'll do. The bike is in working order and it was $750. It has 20k miles. It is all there but needs some cosmetic help. Look for before and after pics in a couple weeks.
In other news my CB500 is all back together but I think my ignition switch is bad. Got one for $20 off ebay. Also have a new battery on the way for it.
I hope to have two awesome looking rideable bikes by 9/1/11.
