cl175 camshaft bearing bolts stripped (help)
« on: August 03, 2011, 05:21:01 PM »
Anyone know of the best way for me to get all the phillips head screws out on both sides of the camshaft? my drill isn't doing it and im afraid to keep stripping the heads even worse. they're not easy to get to since they're down inside the little outside case.

Drill? Those are #3 Phillips head screws. Use the correct screwdriver, or an impact driver if necessary, and there won't be any need for a drill. If you're using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, you'll just bugger things up.
