Sounds like some great progress. Only a few weeks left before Valdosta. Will you "git er done" in time??? I'm trying to meet that deadline myself on another project but its not looking good for me.

Just a suggestion but you likely will need to put real shocks on the rear to get some squat versus a quick snatch from the rigid suspension. Its not an automatic so the higher launch rpms will tend  to make it want to yank the front wheel off the ground. Let the rear suspension work for you to lower the 60'. Those struts are not your friend on a no bar, hand clutch bike used for drag racing. If you need to lower the bike, there are shorter shocks available through Cycle X or you can just make new mounts on the arm and change the shock angle a bit on the stock shocks. You really want to keep that suspended arm or you'll be fighting wheelies unnecessarily. Without a suspended swingarm, you won't be able to lower the 60'.

Ok, lets have a contest to see who will actually get their projects ready for Valdosta. My current status is:

* Still fabricating and welding brackets on frame for pegs/battery box/ electronics etcc
*Paint frame and swingarm
*Install new fork seals and tapered bearings
* Fabricate all new brake lines
* Still need to purchase offset sprocket, lithium bat, switched throttle, dyna plate for Pro Series 2
* Building brand new motor- still in pieces
* Need to wire complete bike with full race harness
* Need to set up complete nitrous system
* Start bike
* Need to test
* Only have 2 hands, a half a brain and less than 2 weeks left.

Umm, on second thought, i think this is a loosing proposition for me-lol.

Good work  there my friend.

You are way out front with a hole shot and approaching the mph cone. I'm still back at the 60' mark. Now where is that darned nitrous button when you need it??
