Get him to show you a photo of his "big bore group" that's on his bike stand downstairs in his basement.  Not even the ones in Cobra Girl or the Cobra motor that is upstairs...just the whole stinking bike lift full of oversized blocks and pistons.  It was quite impressive to see.

BILL : What is the length [ in mm. ] of the accelerator rod on them flat slides 34's , if you had a two step and bars you could take that rod out ..... no bog.
SPEAKING on two steps why not in ST/ET as the BUSA racer I run at NHRA track ARE LEAVING HARD OFF A TWO STEP.  You got a add on or stock or elec. tach, elec. auto shift, elec.-over air shifter, elec. rev-limiter, elec. hot brain box, elec. wheel control spin, elec.wheelie limiter, NOS spray wet or dry and those accepted parts are all ELECTRIC = RIGHT.

you can adjust the arm to were it does not pump.  I have 3 bikes all with the flat slides and all of them are "Turned off"
they pump in too much fuel and makes it very hard to tune on the dyno

My pump stopped working years ago and I see no reason, performance wise, to install the new diaphragm kit. The proof is in the time slip.

I hear you. My pump is working. ...I checked,  it never bogged the whole weekend.  But that was a really trick Stage IV. The one on it now is a Stage III, might need adjusting , we'll see. Been so busy with other work, I hope to degree cam tonight. Be interesting at dyno to make a run or two with and w/out, hell the reason they were first put on was to to correct the lean bog when you first nail it. So I think it was a  tribute to the head work etc and 327 cam that it performed like it did. Something came in the mail today, pics later!! Bill
