Float Supplier

Hi all, I've been reading the posts here since I decided to revive my dad's/grandpa's CB750K1 and they've been a lot of help.  I cleaned and rebuilt the carbs yesterday as well as cleaned the tank, and I've employed many of the tips and tricks from here and links from here.  I have brass floats in the carbs now, and during the cleaning process, found the#3 float to have a visible crack in it, which would explain why that carb was nasty, green and stuck.  Since I wanted to get as much done while the bike and I were in the same location (using my grandpa's shop 40 min from school) I soldered the crack.  Then, since the repair looked mediocre, I tested it under water for a few hours.  I pulled it out, shook it, and even though it floated, it had water in it.  So I tried it again, and saw moisture seeping from the other side of the float (I think the seam is bad.)

My question is: Where in the U.S. (midwest?) can I get a float from?  I found Classic Motorcycle Supplies, but I was hoping to find something closer than Netherlands.  Or, is there a coating I can put on to seal the original seam?

Thanks,
Joel

These guys list them --> http://www.crotchrocket.com/fiche_select.asp for about 24 bucks EACH (ouch!).  I attached a .pdf of the carb fiche (part no. 4).  There's a bunch of vendors that have the parts fiche on-line, I just happen to have this one bookmarked.

And, of course, listing them doesn't mean they have or stock them.  The brass floats will be tougher to find than the plastic ones.  I wonder what issues may arrive with a mixed set, 3 brass and 1 plastic?  And buying all 4 would be pricey...probably cheaper to score a used set and use it for parts.
